For over 30 years Jim has worked in sales and rentals of heavy equipment including heavy earthmoving equipment,
mining and aggregate production equipment, as well as concrete and asphalt production equipment.
He began his construction equipment distribution career in 1979 when he went to work for
the New York Caterpillar dealer Syracuse Supply Company as a machine sales representative.
In 1992 he became the Rental Fleet Manager at Syracuse Supply Company and was responsible
for all New York rental operations. He then moved to a Sales Mangers role overseeing heavy
and compact equipment sales as well as the start up of the Panther Cat Rental Store operation.
In 2006 Jim came to Rasmussen Companies with a broad base of industry knowledge and contacts which
helps to support the demands of managing our growing fleet. He is responsible for overseeing and
managing not only our equipment acquisition and disposal, but also equipment consignment
and broker sales, equipment rentals, and fleet evaluations. His expertise in the field is invaluable.
Jim is a pleasure to work with and he is a huge asset to our organization.
